Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrated with Grandeur at JSPM Institutes

On April 14, 2025, JSPM Institutes marked the 134th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar with a grand celebration, honoring the legacy of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. The event brought together dignitaries, faculty, and students in a vibrant tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring contributions to justice, equality, and education.
The celebration began with a spirited Constitution Glory Rally, featuring a ceremonial palanquin carrying the Constitution and Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait, accompanied by traditional Dhol Tasha and Lezim performances. The rally began at PVR Chowk and concluded at the campus with great enthusiasm.
Formal proceedings included the garlanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s statue and addresses by distinguished guests: Chief Guest Hon’ble Uttamrao Kamble Ji, President of the Program Hon’ble Shri Shivajirao Patil Kavhekar Saheb Ji, and Guest of Honour Hon’ble Shri Ajit Sinha Patil Kavhekar Sir. Their speeches reflected on Dr. Ambedkar’s transformative role in nation-building and his vision for an inclusive society.
A highlight of the program was the impactful keynote speech by Hon’ble Uttamrao Kamble Ji titled “We Are the People of India,” which emphasized the power of education and humanity in shaping a just nation.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Abdul Galib Shaikh, expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the successful celebration.
The occasion stood as a powerful tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals, reaffirming JSPM’s commitment to fostering social equity and educational empowerment.
