Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Celebrated with Zeal at SVIES, Latur

On February 19, 2025, Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur, commemorated the 395th birth anniversary of the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, with great enthusiasm and reverence. The celebration began with lamp lighting and floral tributes to Shivaji Maharaj’s portrait by esteemed dignitaries.
The Chief Guest, Hon’ble Shri Vikas Labade sir, along with Principal Mrs. Varsha Labade Ma’am and other dignitaries, highlighted the significance of Shivaji Maharaj's leadership, courage, and contributions to Indian history. Inspiring speeches by Shri Vikas Labade sir and Mr. Dipak Gore sir brought Shivaji Maharaj's legacy to life for the students.
The celebration featured captivating cultural performances and vibrant student participation, including performances by students dressed as Shivaji Maharaj and Jijamata. The event was skillfully hosted by Mrs. Renuka Ambulge Ma’am and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Sanjay Biradar sir.
The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to one of India’s greatest heroes and instilled pride and inspiration among the students.
