National Youth Day & Rajmata Jijau Jayanti Celebration - 2026

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School (SVIES), Latur, celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, observed as National Youth Day, along with the birth anniversary of Rajmata Jijau, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
The programme was graced by Administrative Coordinator Mr. Vikas Labade, Principal Mrs. Varsha Labade, Vice-Principal Mrs. Shivkanya Tat, Junior Wing Academic Coordinator Mrs. Sushma Gadade, and Cultural Committee Head Mr. Dattatray Ohal.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the felicitation of guests. Mr. Dattatray Ohal introduced the dignitaries. The programme was anchored by Mrs. Rajkanya and Mrs. Jayshri Patil, ensuring a smooth flow of events.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Ankush Chavan, Professor at Dayanand College, Latur, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda and the legacy of Rajmata Jijau. Dr. Nishigandha Salunke, BDS, Dental Doctor and Shahir, also addressed the gathering and recited a powerful poem dedicated to Rashtra Mata Jijau.
Students actively participated by delivering speeches on the lives and contributions of both महान personalities. A traditional Powada performance by the school music team added cultural vibrance to the programme.
The event concluded with an address by Mr. Vikas Labade, encouraging students to imbibe values of discipline, courage, and national pride inspired by the lives of Swami Vivekananda and Rajmata Jijau.
