Veer Baal Diwas Celebration -2025

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School (SVIES), Latur, celebrated Veer Baal Diwas on 26th December 2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence, in accordance with CBSE Circular No. Acad-96/2025. The programme aimed to honour the courage, sacrifice, and inspiring spirit of young heroes while promoting patriotism and holistic development among students.

A key highlight of the day was the live screening of the national event addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. The webcast was viewed by students and teachers in the school’s digital classroom, helping them understand the significance of Veer Baal Diwas and the legacy of bravery associated with it.

To mark the occasion, a variety of co-curricular activities were conducted across different classes. Students enthusiastically participated in drawing and painting competitions based on themes of courage and patriotism, essay writing on the role of children in nation-building, and poem recitation reflecting values of bravery and sacrifice. Digital presentations prepared using ICT tools showcased historical narratives and moral lessons, while classroom discussions further deepened students’ understanding of the day’s importance.

Teachers actively guided students throughout the activities, ensuring meaningful participation and engagement. The celebration created awareness about the sacrifices of young heroes and instilled values such as courage, resilience, and responsibility, while also encouraging creativity and confidence among students.
