Mahaparinirvan Day Observance -2025

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School (SVIES), Latur, solemnly observed Mahaparinirvan Day on 6th December 2025, paying tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

The programme was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kshirsagar from COCSIT College, Latur, and was presided over by Administrative Coordinator Mr. Vikas Labade. The event was attended by Principal Mrs. Varsha Labade, Vice-Principal Mrs. Shivkanya Tat, Primary Coordinator Mrs. Sushma Gadade, and Cultural Committee Head Mr. Dattatray Ohal.

The ceremony began with floral tributes offered to the portrait of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, expressing respect and gratitude for his immense contributions towards equality, justice, and social reform. The Chief Guest was felicitated with a shawl and a Tulsi Vrind as a mark of honor.

The programme featured inspiring speeches by Mr. Vikas Labade and Mrs. Varsharani Jadhav, who highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of social justice and equality. A heartfelt speech by Miss Samruddhi Kumre of Class XI further reflected on his ideals and their relevance in building an inclusive society.

The event was enriched with soulful musical performances by Mrs. Kanchan Shastri and Mr. Vijay Sarawade, creating a reflective and respectful atmosphere. The programme was gracefully anchored by Miss Shailaja Ambadas Todkar of Class IX, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Dagadusaheb Kawade, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, staff, and students for their participation. The observance concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values of equality, justice, and fraternity as envisioned by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
