Birsa Munda Jayanti Celebration - 2025

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School (SVIES), Latur, celebrated Birsa Munda Jayanti on 15th November 2025 with great respect and enthusiasm, paying tribute to the महान freedom fighter and tribal leader, Birsa Munda.

The programme was graced by Administrative Coordinator Mr. Vikas Labade, Principal Mrs. Varsha Labade, Vice-Principal Mrs. Shivkanya Tat, Junior Wing Academic Coordinator Mrs. Sushma Gadade, Academic In-charge Mr. Sanjay Biradar, School Head Boy Amit Boyne, and School Head Girl Sakshi Jadhav.

The celebration began with an inspiring address by Mr. Vikas Labade, who highlighted the life, sacrifices, and contributions of Birsa Munda, especially his role in the historic Ulgulan (Munda Rebellion). His speech motivated students to understand the values of courage, determination, and justice.

To mark the occasion, a Speech Competition was organized, where students expressed their thoughts on the life and legacy of Birsa Munda. The event also featured a Traditional Adivasi Dance Competition, showcasing vibrant performances that reflected the rich cultural heritage and spirit of tribal traditions.

The programme was compered by Mr. Dattatray Ohal and Rajkumari Dukare, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow of events. The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Dattatray Ohal, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and attendees for making the programme a meaningful and memorable tribute.
