Marathwada Liberation Day and the Anniversary of Swami Ramanand Tirtha University were celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at the JSPM Campus on 17th September 2025. The occasion paid tribute to the historic significance of Marathwada’s liberation, the enduring legacy of Swami Ramanand Tirtha, and the vital role of education in shaping society.

The celebration commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony led by the Chief Guest, Dr. Jaydrat Jadhav Sir, Senior Lecturer at Shivaji Mahavidyalaya, Renapur. The programme was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Vinod Jadhav (Coordinator, JSPM), Mr. Govind Shinde (Principal, Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya), Mr. Maruti Suryawanshi (Principal, Swami Vivekanand Vidyalaya), Mr. Vikas Labade (Administrative Coordinator, SVIES), Mr. Shivraj Bondge (Principal, Senior College), Mr. Laxmikant Goud (Principal, Swami Vivekanand Polytechnic College), Mrs. Shireen Samson (Maharashtra College of Nursing), Mr. Sandeep Panchal (Principal, ITI), Mr. Sanjay Biradar (Academic In-charge, SVIES), and Mr. Shivaji Suryavanshi (Principal, Primary School).

Following the flag hoisting, the National Song and Maharashtra Geet were rendered, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and pride. Students of Swami Vivekanand Integration English School added a special touch to the programme by presenting a melodious welcome song, which was warmly appreciated by the audience.

The programme continued with an introductory address by Mr. Maruti Suryawanshi Sir, who highlighted the historical importance of Marathwada Liberation Day and the contributions of freedom fighters. A notable highlight of the event was an impressive speech by Arohi Sontakke, a student of SVIES, who confidently addressed the audience in both Hindi and English, earning admiration for her eloquence.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Jaydrat Jadhav Sir, delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking speech, emphasizing the significance of Marathwada Mukti Sangram Din and the visionary leadership of Swami Ramanand Tirtha. He underscored the role of education in empowering society and encouraged students to uphold the values of courage, responsibility, and continuous learning.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. Govind Shinde Sir, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, staff, students, and organizers for their valuable contributions in making the programme a grand success.
