Swami Vivekanand Integration English School (SVIES), Latur, celebrated Hindi Diwas on 16th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural pride. The programme was organized to honour the significance of the Hindi language as an integral part of India’s cultural and national identity.

The celebration commenced with a ceremonial inauguration, where esteemed dignitaries—Administrative Coordinator Mr. Vikas Labade, Principal Mrs. Varsha Labade, Vice-Principal Mrs. Shivkanya Tat, Junior Wing Academic Coordinator Mrs. Sushma Gadade, Exam Head Mrs. Deepmala Tatyarao Dhumal, Cultural Committee Head Mr. Dattatray Ohal, School Head Boy Amit Boyne, and School Head Girl Sakshi Jadhav—graced the occasion by garlanding the portrait of Sant Kabir, the revered poet-saint. The programme was energetically anchored by Mrs. Swati Bhise Ma’am, who warmly welcomed the gathering.

The event featured a series of insightful speeches. Mr. Dagadusaheb Kawade highlighted the importance of Hindi as a unifying language that connects people across diverse regions of India. Mrs. Deepmala Dhumal delivered a thought-provoking address, drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s experiences and emphasizing the pride and strength associated with one’s mother tongue. Mr. Dattatray Ohal spoke about the importance of preserving all languages, reminding the audience that every language carries a unique cultural identity. Concluding the segment, Mr. Vikas Labade inspired students and teachers to value and promote India’s rich linguistic heritage.

The celebration was further enriched by vibrant student performances. Young learners Amay Somvanshi and Sahil Ansari of Class II delivered enthusiastic speeches, while Shlesha Phad (LKG), Sana Parween (Class II A), and Satyawati (Class II B) presented a delightful poem recital. Students of Class II performed an engaging skit highlighting the importance of Hindi in daily life, followed by lively dance performances by Class II and pre-primary students, which filled the atmosphere with joy and cultural spirit.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Swati Bhise Ma’am, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, staff, and students for their enthusiastic participation.
