16-06-2025

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur, celebrated Father’s Day with great warmth and joy, honouring the love and sacrifices of fathers. The event was organized specially for the parents of the pre-primary section, involving enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff.

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and garlanding of Swami Vivekananda’s portrait, setting a respectful and spiritual tone. Our tiny tots expressed their love and respect by touching their fathers’ feet, a traditional Indian gesture of reverence.

Mrs. Sushma Gadade Ma’am emceed the event, while the children delighted the audience with charming dance performances that brought smiles to everyone.

The gathering was addressed by Administrative Coordinator Mr. Vikas Labade Sir and Principal Mrs. Varsha Labade Ma’am, who spoke about the crucial role of fathers in shaping a child’s life and education.

A musical performance by Mr. Datta Ohal Sir, including a touching song dedicated to fathers, added an emotional highlight to the celebration.

Mrs. Rajkanya Shrirame Ma’am, our Itihasa teacher, delivered an insightful talk on the importance of teaching values and ethics to help children connect with their cultural roots.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Academic Incharge Mr. Sanjay Biradar Sir, and special appreciation was given to the dedicated pre-primary team — Mrs. Pooja Mundhe Ma’am, Mrs. Meenakshi Shitole Ma’am, and Ms. Vidhya Thorat Ma’am — for their exceptional efforts in organizing the event.

The Father’s Day celebration at SVIES beautifully reflected the bond between fathers and children, making it a memorable occasion filled with love, respect, and cultural significance.
