POSH & POCSO Awareness Session-Empowering Students with Awareness and Safety

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur, recently organized a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Awareness Session, exclusively for students. The session aimed to educate children about their rights, emphasize the importance of personal safety, and equip them with the knowledge to protect themselves in difficult situations.

The session was conducted by Ms. Reshamm Bamb, Director of Shy Foundation—a respected social activist, awareness promoter, and certified POSH & POCSO trainer. With a compassionate and clear approach, Ms. Bamb explained key provisions of both laws, addressed the importance of setting safe personal boundaries, and strongly encouraged students to speak up against any form of abuse or discomfort.

The event was smoothly compered by Mrs. Sujata Thakur Ma’am, who kept the audience engaged and coordinated the session with great efficiency.
