Independence Day Celebration @ Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur

Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur, proudly celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and unity at the JSPM Campus, alongside other institutions under the JSPM banner.

Flag Hoisting Ceremony

The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Founder President of JSPM, Former Member of the Maharashtra Assembly, and Chairman of MNS Bank, Shri Shivajirao Patil Kavhekar Saheb Ji.

The programme was further graced by distinguished dignitaries:

• Shri Govind Shinde Sir – Principal, Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya

• Shri Vikas Labade Sir – Administrative Coordinator, SVIES

Cultural and Formal Programme

The celebrations began with a soulful Tulsi Vandana and a melodious welcome song performed by the talented students of SVIES, setting a serene and respectful tone for the event.

Shri Govind Shinde Sir delivered the welcome address, following which the Chief Guest honoured SVIES students who had recently achieved third place at the district level in a singing competition hosted by Shri Bankatlal Lahoti English School.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was an eloquent Sanskrit speech delivered by student Shruti Kadam, which captivated the audience and received immense appreciation.

In his keynote address, the Chief Guest delivered a powerful and inspiring speech. He emphasized the importance of Independence Day and expressed confidence in India's rising global stature, stating that India is poised to surpass countries like America, Russia, and China in the near future. His words instilled a renewed sense of pride and ambition in the audience.

Grand Tiranga Rally

The formal programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mr. Maruti Suryawanshi Sir.

Following the ceremony, a vibrant Tiranga Rally was organized under the leadership of
Hon’ble Shri Ajit Sinha Patil Kavhekar Sir – Vice President, JSPM; BJP District President; and former Member of Latur Municipal Corporation.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and heads of all JSPM units, as they marched from the school campus to Samvidhan Chowk, proudly waving the national flag and echoing patriotic chants.

A Celebration of Unity and Pride

The Independence Day celebrations at SVIES not only honoured the sacrifices of our freedom fighters but also fostered a deep sense of national pride, unity, and cultural awareness among all attendees. The event was a grand success, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the JSPM community.
