Annual Sports Week-2026

In keeping with its vision of holistic education, Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur successfully organized its Annual Sports Week, creating a vibrant platform to promote physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and true sportsmanship among students.

The Sports Week was inaugurated with great enthusiasm in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Baban Murkute Sir (Planning Division, Collector Office, Latur). The programme was presided over by Mr. Govind Shinde Sir, President of the Programme and Principal, Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalay, Latur.

The occasion was further dignified by the presence of Mr. Laxmikant Gaud Sir, Principal, Swami Vivekanand Institute of Polytechnic & Engineering, and Mr. Vikas Labade Sir, Administrative Coordinator, Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur.

The entire event was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Varsha Labade Ma’am, with the wholehearted support of Vice Principal Shivkanya Tat Ma’am, Academic Incharge Mr. Sanjay Birardar Sir, Coordinator Sushma Gadade Ma’am, HOD Mr. Namdev Madibone Sir, and Mess Manager Mr. Vinayak Tekale Sir. The collective efforts of the management and staff ensured the smooth, safe, and disciplined conduct of all activities.

Throughout the week, students enthusiastically participated in a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports events, including track and field competitions, team games, and recreational activities. The campus resonated with energy, cheers, and healthy competition. Teachers’ constant encouragement and guidance played a vital role in motivating students and enhancing their confidence and performance.

The Annual Sports Week beautifully highlighted the importance of physical well-being alongside academic excellence. It helped inculcate essential life values such as discipline, leadership, teamwork, perseverance, and respect for rules. Students also learned to accept both victory and defeat with grace and dignity—an invaluable lesson beyond the playground.

The valedictory function marked the successful conclusion of the Sports Week, during which winners were felicitated and all participants were appreciated for their sincere efforts and sportsmanlike spirit.
