Be Responsible towards Special Needs Person
26 Apr 2024
We as human need to understand our responsibility towards the people who are gifted and should empathise and take responsibility, instead of ignoring them or shrugging off the responsibility. Many of us make them stay away from their loved ones. They might have a 1% chance of recovery only when they get 99% love and care from their loved ones. Being ignored or kept away from their family can evoke a range of complex and deeply distressing emotions for individuals with special needs. These feelings can include:
Isolation: Being ignored or excluded from family interactions can lead to profound feelings of isolation and loneliness. Individuals with special needs may feel disconnected from their loved ones and struggle to find a sense of belonging within their own family unit. Rejection: The perception of being kept away from family activities or gatherings can instill a sense of rejection and abandonment. This can have a significant impact on their self-esteem and self-worth, leading to feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness. Depression: Persistent exclusion and neglect from family members can contribute to the development of depression and other mental health issues. The lack of social interaction and emotional support can exacerbate feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and despair. Frustration: Special needs individuals may experience frustration and anger as a result of being sidelined or overlooked within their family dynamics. They may struggle to express their emotions and communicate their needs effectively, leading to feelings of powerlessness and frustration. Loss of Identity: Being ignored or kept away from family can erode a person's sense of identity and self-confidence. They may feel marginalized and overlooked, leading to a loss of self-esteem and a diminished sense of self-worth.
Overall, being ignored or kept away from their family can have profound and lasting effects on individuals with special needs, impacting their emotional well-being, sense of belonging, and overall quality of life. It is essential for families to recognize the importance of inclusion, acceptance, and unconditional love in supporting the holistic development and happiness of their loved ones with special needs.
