27-08-2024
The Gokulashtami celebration at Swami Vivekanand National School, Rahatani, was held with great enthusiasm and devotion on 27th August. The festival, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with a vibrant and spiritual atmosphere, bringing together students, teachers, and staff in a joyful tribute to one of the most beloved deities in Hindu mythology.
One of the main highlights of the event was the “Dahi Handi” ceremony, where students formed human pyramids to break a clay pot filled with curd, mimicking the playful and daring acts of young Krishna. This event was met with cheer and excitement from the entire school.
Prasad was distributed to all students and attendees, adding a sweet end to the festivities.
